Been listening to an advance copy tonight. Existing fans of this band and all fans of ambient and downtempo electro should go and get this album. Very good and a definite winner even after the first play.
Comes out next week. Stand out track for me is "Miss it so much" with a guest appearance from the ever-lovely Lykke Li. The whole album has a very euro feel to it. Shades of Air France or Sebastian Tellier. Expect one or two of these tracks to end up on a Hotel Costes collection or a Kruder and Dorfmeister remix. It even goes a little bit krautrock at times. Apparently there's a sister album to this called Senior coming out later this year too.
I'd love to see them get a bit darker in a collaboration with Miss Kittin, Tracy Thorn or even Ladytron but they've proven to me that they can still make great polished pop.
