I was hoping by avoiding it we may play better, so walk on, nothing to see

Sussex 39/3 (11.4 ov)
Kent
Kent won the toss and elected to field

At least we have a home town umpire

Kent struggling - they need almost 1.5 runs per over and have just lost their second wicket.

Shows what a poor side Kent must be if they can't thrash us in 20 overs without losing a wicket - or do you think they have been told to keep it slow until they have sold enough beer

Looks like all the kent bowlers shared in the fun today, Sussex are a beaten team the moment they walk on the pitch. Our one hope is in the 20/20 and that looks a forlorn hope now. Cheerio Robbo, going to be a clear out come October.

Worcestershire got a hatrick on the first three balls and then Northamptshire defended a score of 126

Northamptonshire 126 (35.1 ov)
Worcestershire 105 (31.0 ov)
Northamptonshire won by 21 runs

Our 20/20 Q final will be very tough they are a very good one day team
