When I was a youth I used to go babysitting with my girlfriend who was employed in several rich houses in Hove Park. They all had massive satellite dishes and could get a new channel called MTV.

Roxette's Joyride was on permanent loop, so I will always remember this song and associate it with my efforts to touch a real human breast....

Was shocked to hear this as I wasn't aware of her illness. Did some great stuff such as Tourism album.

I didn't realise how ill she'd been for so long. She gave such a lot to the music world.

Her songs in the early nineties were part of my childhood. 'It must have been love' is one of my favourite ever records and 'Joyride' always reminded me of that great season we had in 1990/91 when we reached Wembley in the play-off final. Around March '91 it became a big tune.

RIP Roxette. If she suffered through pain, at least she's free of it now.
