Anybody else got problems with this . According to route on Brighton & Hove Buses website, it is supposed to take in The Dip at Hollingdean. We have waited there on two Saturdays now, and it has failed to appear. Apparently comes up Preston drove to Fiveways, and turns straight down Ditchling Road.
Spoke to the driver coming back form the ground yesterday, and he didn't have a clue where the Dip is!. Service is operated by Compass (from West Sussex on behalf of B&H buses.
I have e-mailed both Bus companies, and the Club to clarify the route. I will post any reply I get on here

This is the reply I received from Brighton and Hove Buses. Could be good news for those of us on Route P and Route S

Subject: RE: Match Day Bus Service to the AMEX Stadium : Route P

Good morning. Thank you for bringing this problem to our attention. Yes we are aware there is a big problem with Route S and P. The main problem is that the buses are full by the time it should get to you .It has then made its own way to the Stadium as there’s no point a full bus doing the route. The Albion pay for these buses and they have agreed to pay for another 1 on both routes so there should be an improvement, although the services seem to be growing every game .You should contact the Albion as it will only back up what we have told them. Please contact me again if you have a problem. I think the buses will settle down in the next few games and we and the Albion should be able to get a better picture.

Yours Sincerely

:bigwave:Have now received this reply from BHAFC Transport Manager - very interesting , it may be worth contacting him with any other complaints regarding the Bus services as our club are forking out for them:

I am very concerned by the content of your email. It costs to club an enormous sum of money to subsides all the travel arrangements we have in place. And any disruption to the scheduled service or poor service we’ll lead to a risk that you and other fans might try to drive to the Amex, which in turn will affect our performance in terms of targeted objectives the Council are making us comply with.

Can you let me know if you have received a response, satisfactory of otherwise so that I can follow up if necessary.

Compass Bus, who seem to be operating Route P, also operate the Sunday & Bank Holiday workings of route 107, Brighton to Horsham and vv.

All too often, very embarassingly, the drivers seem to get totally lost while driving round the Partgridge Green 'loop', taking wrong turnings, and without the help of local passengers would end up miles off-route.

Maybe then it isnt too surprising whats happening with Route P.
