It has been reported that Wayne Rooney is un-decided as to who he wants to join Newcastle or Manchester United due to both clubs putting the final touches to his contract.Wayne has been impressed with Dick Knights vision for south coast championship side Brighton and Hove Albion!!.
Although the Seagulls have yet to win a game so far this season and were knocked out of the Carling cup by Bristol Rovers,Rooney is only going to sign for Man United or Newcastle provided they agree for a clause in his contract so as to enable him to leave and join the Brighton `revolution,as after meeting the Seagulls chairman,Rooney is impressed with Dick Knights promises of a brand new stadium and also the millions that Dick Knight will plough into the club when,as promised,the stadium is ready in 2-3 years time.Rooney is insisting on the get out clause so he can join the Seagulls as he feels that his long term future is on the south coast.
It is also his girlfriend Collette who has told Rooney that if they are to have any future together,then Brighton is the only place she will be happy for him to come.Collette made it clear to Wayne that she will only trust him again,provided he moves to the area,as it is well known that Brighton has a homosexual community and he is unlikely to indulge in prostitutes,she would feel safer knowing that he,as far as she knows,is not gay.
