I'm sure they will - anything to make a few extra quid. I managed to get a couple of tickets on Sunday for the O2 gig (from a tout) who wanted £400 each at 6.30pm when me and the misses were there. It was our intention to see a film anyway so we left it and went and had a meal. As we couldn't agree on a film to see by 8.30pm we were on our way out and the same tout and many others were still there with what seemed like hundreds of tickets. All of a sudden I made him an offer of £30 each for what were £95 tickets and he sold us two there and then. I guess he was going to be stuck with shed loads of tickets if he didn't get rid of them.

We went in and it dawned on me these were probably fake but they looked real enough and lo and behold they were fine and in we went with about 10mins to spare. To be fair the seats were a long way back but for £30 we were well pleased. The most frustrating thing though for what was a 'sold out' gig was seeing how many empty seats there were dotted around. I reckon at least a couple of hundred were empty - tickets that the touts were probably not able to sell.

I've only ever bought tickets from a tout once before outside the Brighton centre for an Oasis gig years ago and the same thing happened. If you are willing to wait till the absolute last minute it's amazing what some touts will let any tickets they have left go for. I think then we paid just a tenner each although this was about 10 years ago and we did miss the first song.

I think it was probably time to pack it in some time in the mid-70's (that's the 1970's, not the band members' ages!)

Sounds at concerts are set up for the people in the arena. It always sounds crap on TV. I,ve seen them live and then bought the DVD..... Never sounds the same. You have to be there.
