I'll be honest - I'm tempted.

English Premier League club Brighton and Hove Albion will make their debut appearance at the HKFC Citi Soccer Sevens in May.

Brighton will be joined by fellow Premier League clubs Newcastle, West Ham and Leicester City in the May 18-20 tournament at Hong Kong Football Club.

Championship side Aston Villa, runners-up last year, have also committed to take part in the event, bringing to 16 the number of international clubs this year.

Are Seagull Travel running coaches?

So I've looked it up-
Tickets £30
Flight £455 (cheaper via Abu Dhabi £405)
Hotel Travelodge (honestly) £210

They are, yes. Unfortunately for you they set off this morning.

At the usual 6:00 am

It's 7500 Km and to drive it would be about 11 days (15 if you take in to account motorway stops)
By train it can be done but expensive.

I've mentioned a six day away trip to cover Man City and Liverpool away in another thread. Think Hong Kong will be cheaper!

Be useful if you could post the train times as well as detailing decent pubs close at hand for any of the longer changes required.

FFS if it's a masters tournament who's going to play? Hart and Mayo?!

I think we're in the Main tournament, which is youth/academy players predominantly. The Masters tournament runs alongside it.

In other news: note Leon Knight starred in this one a wee while ago.

No chance this year but if we enter again in 2019 I will be all over it. Got business there a couple of weeks after and never say no to an extended stay in HK.
