but who can really turn around the team by the world cup? surely for the RFU dealing with a world cup disaster would be easier and cheaper if he was still in the job.

No doubt Johnson probably wants the job, but it would be unfair to pile on the pressure of a world cup with such little preparation time, the inevitable world cup campaign would be a bad start to what could be a good long term solution.

Give him a crack at the world cup i say :drink:

When I read the title as 'Robinson sage' I thought that someone was trying to stuff our Jake, along with some onion to go with the sage.

Ridiculous surely, unless of course there is one former poster on NSC who just might like the thought of that.......

Get rid know !!! The guy does not have a clue in my opinion and hasn't got the fulling backing of the team hence the dire results /performances they are churning out.

New blood in and quickly is the way ahead if England are to be a major Rugby force again.

I'm shocked at the people who say sack him now and let him sue for a pay-off: if they were in a job with a fixed contract and their boss said 'We're getting rid of you and there's no pay-off", would they be happy?

As a Wales supporter, I think they should just keep him until the end of his contract: I'm enjoying his reign. :lolol:

Surely if you are crap at your job and deliver shit results you don't deserve a pay-off.

It has nothing to do with 'deserve', a contract is a contract.

Here's one Robinson who enjoyed a good stuffing:

The RFU are bungling fools who should have sacked this incompetent twat years ago.

The priority is the World Cup. There is still time for England to get their act together, so we need to do whatever it takes to get this buffoon out of the frame and the right men in.

Personally, I'd involve Martin Johnson somewhere along the line. He'd get things right on the field.

But if you are incapable of doing your job your employers are entitled to sack you,no?

Only for gross incompetence, there is no evidence of that with Robinson that would stack up in a court of law. Losing a GAY game which involves grown men sticking their heads between other mens legs is not gross incompetence.
