Just my veiw but RMJ is a dying breed,years ago most counties had a decent loyal all-rounder not any more. Never got the credit he deserved,but then he was playing for Sussex ! We have so called big name match winners in the English game i/e Freddie or KP however i know which one i rather have. Saw him at Derby score a 'ton' and he did the simple things well. He won't be replaced. Would have liked to have been at Arundel today.

Top Bloke and Top Player, in a similar vein to Jason Lewry playing for Sussex his whole career meant other all-rounders got their England chance while he didn't. A lot worse players than him got England caps but he got a lot of domestic silverware instead.

I'll bet Hurstpierpoint School have one hell of a cricket team in the next few years!
