I didn't really get into it to be honest, found it abit boring and the arrow sound affects where they kept changeing locations was slightly annoying.

The torchwood trailer at the end looked intressting tho!

Good harmless saturday evening fun.

Every time I see the character Guy of Guisbourne though, I think the bloke playing him is in fact Sean Bean.

Anyone else noticed the resemblance (or is it just his accent)?

The first time I heard his voice (wasn't looking at the screen at the time), I thought it was either Sean Bean or one of the many McGann brothers, and there is a slight visual resemblance also IMO

At Home
Loxley is in Sheffield. Sherwood Forest stretched right up into Yorkshire and Robin Hood was buried near Huddersfield. Kirklees Priory is where he went when he was travelling many years later and was murdered by the three nuns (one of whom was Black Barbara a relative of Guy of Guisborne) by bleeding him to death with leeches. Theres a pub called The Three Nuns there now although Kirklees Priory is derelict. It was only the Sheriff who was basesd in Nottingham which is only 30 miles from Sheffield.
Robin Hood is from Yorkshire. He also turns up in the Ivanhoe stories which are based near Conisbrough which is between Rotherham and Doncaster.

Nestling in green nowhere
Not my cup of tea, the merry men look like a boy band and the style of the show is too "Now"

Could have called it "Robin Hoodie" and had them all sniffing butane in a disused shopping mall.. more down wiv da kidz!

Getting old i think, still prefer the old one, Robin of Sherwood,
(Praed nor Connery)
