Keith Allan had his moments, and obviously has his own way of playing the character, which is great in and of itself, but somehow it just doesn't seem as impressive compared to Rickman's version in the film.

Yeh, i did think that when he managed to take out 2 knights by throwing his sword, and conveniently missing the good bloke in the middle......

That was definitely entering the realms of "corny-ness", but it was a good, fun piece of Saturday night entertainment that crucially does not involve Ant or Dec, so it's a winner for me.

That was the kind of thing you could have imagined seeing in Robin Hood: Men In Tights, but just seemed wrong in a relatively serious adaptation.
