Kuipers has been fantastic for us - I'm not sure if I've ever seen a better shot stopper - and it's a tough call between him and Roberts. Coppell has made his choice and we have to go with that.

I think the idea of the Hull switch was to give him some first team action - having him sit on the bench at Hull was probably not part of the plan.

The other important thing to remember is we have a small playing budget - anything Coppell can 'gain' by loaning players out is money he will have to bring players in as and when the need arises. Kuipers is probably on a few quid, the kiddie from Fulham will be considerably cheaper, so the loan move will be freeing up money for when Coppell thinks it needs to be spent.

Having two 'keepers of the quality of Roberts and Kuipers is possibly a luxury we could do without with the money better spent on other positions. It would be sad to see Kuipers go, and we do not know if that is going to happen. It's still a big 'if'.

I like Robert's distribution much better than Kuipers however he'll get caught out sooner rather than later and will give away a goal as he tries to dribble the ball out of the area.
