Has he left yet?
It feels like I’ve read the same thread twice a week since last Summer.
It feels like I’ve read the same thread twice a week since last Summer.
I haven’t said that he’s said it directly? I said his bleating on is giving the impression he wants out which is being commented on regularly by the media as well as other fans which is not a great look for him or the club. No, that's the impression that 'they' are giving. Point me to one source where RDZ is saying that.
What are you blathering on about credible sports agencies?! Just listen back to numerous Athletic and other football podcasts, Radio 5 or talkSport shows over the past couple of weeks if you want. Loads of people in the media have been saying it, not just fans.
As far as I’m concerned it’s like politicians talking, Barber lip services the fans until it comes down to actually building a squad to achieve European football and winning silverware for that to happen on a regular basis the squad would have to stay together for longer than a season and we all know that’s unlikely. Roberto has had some PR intervention it would seem it’s no longer his personal ambition its now the clubs ambition. Surprised some fans suck it all up.Quite refreshing to hear him refer to next season quite a lot in recent interviews.
Some serious investment in the summer, no European distraction and a bit of quality we need to push on.
Bed wetters on here are pathetic.
Great answer. To expand for you - journalists, broadcasters and ex players working in the media have been saying this. You clearly don’t listen or watch any wider football coverage if you’ve not heard this said. I’m not making it up or repeating something I’ve heard on a niche, underground media platform. It’s The Athletic, Sky Sports News, Radio 5, talkSport.Righto.
Yes, so 'the media' have been saying it, yes? Have you heard anything like that from TB or RDZ? Nope, didn't think so.Great answer. If he kept his mouth shut and didn’t try to pass the buck for poor performance to Tony and the club then it wouldn’t be said.
i didnt know his contract was linked to European football - doubt he will go anywhereWe will not be in Europe next year and
RDZ won’t be at the club next year.
I hope the club don’t draw out the process and get his replacement in place in good time so we can plan for what ever target we have next season.
FFS, can you read?! I haven’t said that TB or RDZ have said that to the media directly! I’ve said that’s the big impression he’s giving the football world with his constant moaning which is detracting from the club.Yes, so 'the media' have been saying it, yes? Have you heard anything like that from TB or RDZ? Nope, didn't think so.
Nothing directly from him, then...?Numerous podcasts, radio and TV shows. The’re all saying it. Whether he’s desperate to get out or not, that is the impression he’s giving out loud and clear.
If I was a fan of another club I’d be saying it too!
No!!! I never said that!!!! That’s not the point I was making! I don’t care whether he actually desperately wants out!Nothing directly from him, then...?
'Media outlet in spinning story to suit their narrative and make a big deal of something that might not be SHOCKER!'FFS, can you read?! I haven’t said that TB or RDZ have said that to the media directly! I’ve said that’s the big impression he’s giving the football world with his constant moaning which is detracting from the club.
Ex Premier League winning striker Chris Sutton on quite well know national radio station BBC Radio 5 Live, on their very popular Monday Night Club show this week:
"If you are a Brighton fan then you look at some of the things he is saying and thinking he looks pretty desperate to get out.”
Just one quote I could find quickly but there has been a lot of this over the past few weeks in response to his moaning.
I couldn’t give a toss how RDZ feels himself to be honest, I just don’t want him mugging off Tony or the club in public which is what he’s done recently.
No you’re right - RDZ in his interviews sounds like he’s really happy and sees his long term future with Brighton and Hove Albion.'Media outlet in spinning story to suit their narrative and make a big deal of something that might not be SHOCKER!'
But you THINK he definitely does (not that you care). Based on opinionated people in the media. No!!! I never said that!!!! That’s not the point I was making! I don’t care whether he actually desperately wants out!
Yep, I can read perfectly well and what you're saying is that 'the media' have been claiming all sorts of things, based on their interpretation of the things that RDZ has said...yes?FFS, can you read?! No I don’t think he definitely does, like you and I said, I don’t care! And like you said, no one except him and those close to him know how he really feels. But you THINK he definitely does (not that you care). Based on opinionated people in the media.
In reality, no-one knows what he is thinking. Or knows what conversations he's had with the hierarchy, or what his relationship with them is like. We're being fed stuff - opinions based on his admittedly quite honest comments, but the likes of Talkshite have an agenda to drive traffic and go with the more sensationalist angles. And some people lap it up, instead of taking it with a pinch of salt.
I will give up now.Yep, I can read perfectly well and what you're saying is that 'the media' have been claiming all sorts of things, based on their interpretation of the things that RDZ has said...yes?
Well, that's it then, he's obviously off and can't stand being here anymore.
Get a grip, man.
If...IF he goes, so be it, but no need to take media hype at face value.
I'm getting really bored with this now. He needs to go immediamente, his players can't manage against the low block which is a fundamental coaching requirement so he has to go - put simply he's not good enough!!
Don’t be a dick. You know what’s widespread been said, alluded, inferred, interpreted etc across the various media. If you choose not to acknowledge fair enough, that’s your prerogative. So just loads of speculation of someone’s interpretations of his less than perfect english….this is all getting pathetic…
We've had some serious investment for a number of years now - thank you very much Uncle Tony!Quite refreshing to hear him refer to next season quite a lot in recent interviews.
