Really hope Roberto can keep Wigan up,with what he has to choose from i believe he does a wonderful job, plus he try's to play 'pass N move' football and in any interview he just comes across as a decent guy,the game could do with more like him. :bigwave:

I would love us to get him when Poyet goes. Does well on a tiny budget at Wigan

I was thinking the same recently, with Harry Redknapp potentially England manager and Someone needed at Chelsea, IF Gus was to go who would fit in with how we play. Martinez would fit well and plays positive football and seems to bring a team together. but other then him, I would want someone like Brendan Rodgers. But first and foremost, want Gus to stay FOREVER!

Should have taken the Villa job, dreadful decision demonstating both poor judgement & an extreme lack of ambition

Actually i'd call it an incredibly astute decision. Villa are skint, have a poor squad, and a fanbase that expect european football. He did well to swerve that one.

Sorry Vegas Aston 'Big Club' Villa you must be joking had they not beaten Chelsea and one other surprise result they would be in the bottom three.

I love Martinez and I hope he comes here one day. He really stood up to the chairman when he criticised his resting some players too. Wigan don't deserve him. They're a rugby town not a football town. Hope he's available and willing when Gus goes.

Like Martinez, but hate Big Mouth Whelan, so I hope Wigan go down.

He's a gobby tw*t. He's constantly carping on to anyone who will listen about how other clubs should be run, sticking his oar in where it doesn't concern him.

Surely it does concern him,he is keeping Wigan in the Prem, their gates don't pay enough. Yet he employs a manager that (for me) play's the game in the right way,but they could go down. Maybe Whelan should have gone for 'Big Sam' instead ?
