The arse end of Hangleton
Shameful by the club, whose limitations of ambition have been fully exposed by RDZ. Buy cheap, give the fans two seasons entertainment, sell on at a stonking profit. Rinse, repeat, rejoice at the operating profit. Hurrah! (said nobody other than an accountant ever)

LET'S ALL STAY BEHIND ON SUNDAY AND GIVE RDZ THE HERO'S FAREWELL HE SO RICHLY DESERVES
I agree with your final statement BUT your opening statement just shows you've not paid any attention to TBMBE and PBOBE over the last few seasons - and I say "hurrah" because it means we'll have a club to support for many years to come.

The "Real Club" curse rears its head again...

There are only six Real Clubs in the PL, and this divinely-ordered state of affairs cannot long be mucked around with without divine retribution.

I’m in the ‘worried about what this means for the summer transfer plans’ camp.
Given the clubs succession mantra - doesn’t everyone expect we will have a new coach in about 48 hours. Bloom/Barber don’t mess around. No way will they have announced this - with a plan to spend the summer interviewing candidates.

New coach in this week. New signings to follow. BAU.

People's reaction are so weird. When Potter went there were claims he'd done nothing really and De Zerbi transformed us. Now I'm seeing people claim it was all Potter's work really.

The truth is we've had two excellent managers in succession who've taken the club where it wanted to be. Are we at a crossroads? Yes. But the right managerial choice can build on the work of both Potter and RDZ.

I'm sorry to see him go because we played the best football we've ever played and there was a period when we'd go to Emirates and Old Trafford half expecting to win. But this is a classic example of the 'I've taken them as far as I can' mentality. So ending it feels logical and inevitable.

FWIW, I imagine he'll get a job in Italy now (Napoli, Bologna etc).

A bit out of the blue this. I thought RDZ was planning for the upcoming summer transfer window after the media frenzy earlier. His brand of football was very pleasing to the eye. Will the next manager follow his principles or will it be a totally different style.

Why? If we have terminated his contract then why would be entitled to compo? There might be an agreement between the parties but doesn’t seem a great deal from RDZ point of view unless we are paying him until his next job which I very much doubt

He clearly did not want to be our manager anymore, so it did not make sense for us to force him to stay.

With mutual consent, he is now free to negotiate with who he wants and we can get a replacement in.

However, as part of the mutual agreement, there is likely some figure that was agreed that another club would have to pay us.

Have just read club statement. Clear that he does not have a job offer so can only presume he is not happy with what Bloom has put on table for next season. I think this is more of a concern than losing a manager because we will not finish anywhere near top ten with this squad.
No concerns at all. I think Bloom will make enough funds available to bolster a brilliant young squad and keep it competitive. What he won't do is pay huge fees for established stars, breaking away from the model that's got the club to this point. That seems to be what De Zerbi expected, judging by his demeanour since January.

Hopefully the treatment room will get a rest with the next manager

To be a better manager, someone has to get us further in Europe, or win a cup or get us to fifth in the league. It's a big ask.
Nonsense. That would only be the case if the next manager has the same quality squad (which they probably won't). Players are the most important thing.
