The Nicest option out there.
5th place, not 2nd.
Also 40% win rate in TURKEY.
The Nicest option out there.
I don’t think defence is our biggest problem.Plays same style as RDZ but better defensiven
And it’s a bit late for Frank O’FarrellIf his name was Frank Farrell, this would be much more underwhelming
We've got players older than thatAh ok. Only going by what the article said. He's 35, not sure he's got the experience personally.
Many a true word spoken in jest. I cannot see why on earth you’d go for him over someone like McKenna, yet many who think McKenna would be ‘underwhelming’ are creaming their pants over this guy, whose sides score barely any goals. They just want someone hipster I think. If his name was Frank Farrell, this would be much more underwhelming
Yes. He sounds more like a James Hunt type character, asopposed to Frank, the MIlk float service engineer. If his name was Frank Farrell, this would be much more underwhelming
It’d certainly be a little odd with him managing older players than himself (Milner).Plays same style as RDZ but better defensively.
We don’t have any defensive midfielders , any new manager coming in will want at least oneIt’d certainly be a little odd with him managing older players than himself (Milner).
Looking at the Nice stats, the defensive record is impressive compared to RDZ. He mostly plays a 4-1-2-3 with a specific defensive midfielder protecting the back 4. His full backs don’t seem too adventurous. I’d quite like him to bring Mel Bard as cover for Pervis if he joins.
He will often play strikers in his front 3. He always plays a left footer at right wing.
We’d certainly need to change our transfer targets if this guy got the job. We really don’t have a fully formed defensive midfielder currently, I’m not sure his system would work without one.

That was an article from the beginning of March. Since then Nice have had decent results but not outstanding coming away with a total of 14 points from 9 matches.Maybe the perfect like for like

Agree - this has put me off him!I liked him more when I knew nothing about him.

I know nothing about him other than what’s been in the papers. Report I read said he’s quite defensive, which doesn’t seem a good fit for what we do, whether RDZ recommends him or not. Honestly, I think we can do better than someone with as little experience as Farioli. If we’re going for young, rising star I’d much prefer McKenna who does at least have experience working at the top level in English football. Many a true word spoken in jest.
