Rob Earnshaw would be an excellent signing for Charlton, he has really started to turn it on for Wales, see a move to the Premiership as an excellent chance to show what he really is capable of.

There again, perhaps Lennie Lawrence and Sam Hammam were simply at the Valley tonight to watch two of their Cardiff City players, Alan Lee and Richard Langley, in international action for Ireland and Jamaica respectively.

He was badly out of form for most of the second half of the season. He only managed 5 league goals after Christmas and was dropped on a couple of occasions.

But we didn't drop like a stone.....

Hate to say it guys, but I have to agree with LB there.

Ugly Boy Earnie couldn't hit a cow's arse with a banjo after Christmas (apart from for Wales), but Cardiff still finished in comfortable mid table anonymity. Granted, they dropped right out of play off contention, but I'm sure Hammam would make sure they had adequate replacements should Earnshaw leave.

Thorne was the player keeping them afloat for the second half of the season I believe. Can't see the loss of Earnshaw getting them relegated.

We had West Ham (twice) and Millwall here last season. All three games passed off without incident. I don't expect the Leeds game to be any different.

Probably more trouble likely from sulking Leeds fans who (like West Ham) will still be strutting around the division all season with delusions of grandeur.

Given that West Ham refused to get changed in Rotherham's dressing rooms, I can't WAIT to see what they make of our portakabins. It'll be Bobby in there on his own, assuming they don't sell him in the meantime, while the rest of them huff off to the David Lloyd club at the marina to change.

Decent mid table suggests a strong side. The likes of Vidmar, Robinson, Kavanagh, Langley and Earnshaw make you a solid side. A couple more players and surely you'll be pushing the play offs next year?
