Local people are saying that it appears the three robbers dressed in army fatigues went into shop leaving their car keys in the car. A local woman saw what was going on and removed keys from ignition. Robbers came out to find no keys and that's why they were on their toes up the high street.

There was an armed robbery in Crawley today too. They robbed a securicor van and then smashed through the closed level crossing gates during their getaway.
