Legend.

Animal Magic was a classic bit of TV.

RIP Terry - gone to join his finger in that big zoo in the sky.

He'll be sat in the great wildlife park in the sky right now, discussing beavers with Johnny Morris (Morris will do the voice of the beaver, obviously).

RIP. Minute's silence at the Sheffield Wednesday game?

I think a minute of us all making seal noises will be a fitting celebration of his life.

I think I would actually hurt from laughing if 25,000 people made seal noises and clapped their fins in that manner

Ah, the Really Wild Show brings back fond memories of a more innocent time for kids' TV. They didn't rely on the smut and innuendo passing for entertainment nowadays, and I remember sitting wide-eyed as a child watching Michaela stroke a large Cockatoo whilst Terry was hung like a baboon up a tree.

Probably enjoying a heavenly beer in the Gallery with Tony Hart as we speak.

You know you're getting older when your childhood TV heroes start popping their clogs.

How old is Peter Duncan these days?

Think you'll find that he died in Flash Gordon...
