Saw him in my first ever game at the Goldstone, in 1979, when Liverpool won 4-1. RIP.
One memory I have as a kid, was him scoring a fantastic goal for England against I think Hungary( could be wrong)
the ball he hit stuck right in the top corner of the net between post and cross bar held there by the way some goals were built back then. Never seen that before or since.

Would have played more for England had Brooking not been around. Some great players in that Liverpool side. RIP
