The world just lost an amazing film maker with an extrordinary body of work to his credit. Those of us of a certain age were priviliged to tune in and turn on to a wondrous body of work; Don't Look Now, Walkabout, The Man Who Fell To Earth, Performance, to name but a few. Was years, if not decades, ahead of his time in terms of techique and challenging but rewarding cinema.
RIP.
