He was a very kind man, who always had a friendly word with us star struck youngsters when we watched training at Waterhall.

Didn't know him in any personal capacity. Still sad news. His immense love of the game came across so much and so well when he was interviewed for the Peter Ward VHS released about ten years ago. Worth a re-watch.
