I missed out on KB …. Jim Watt was the first lightweight I watched. But as a lover of boxing, I soon found out about world class Ken Buchanan, he had it all, able to take on greats in that era. A silky, relaxed style, a quiet assassin. Love watching footage of his fights.

RIP wee man.

For sure Ken Buchanan was a household name when I was growing up in Scotland. RIP KB :down:

Great boxer. Really sad to hear he has passed.

In later life, he used to drink in the Alhambra bar on Leith Walk. I spoke to him a couole of timed after a Hibs game at Easter Road. Genuine, down to earth guy who enjoyed chatting about football.
RiP Champ.
