What dreadful news. Way too young
Best wishes to the family.
It does make you realise that football itself really is not that important
RIP Eddie

Can only echo all that has already been said.

There really MUST be a fitting memorial to all those that haven't made it to Falmer

I think a lot of us feel this way. Not wishing to be morbid, but it seems as if a lot of loyal fans have died during the long wait for the new stadium. Three of my Albion friends have died suddenly over the last few years and this seems to be a general experience.
Perhaps there could be a tree-planting area at Falmer to remember the loss of loved ones and also to commemorate special events like the birth of children.

For a football man:

Abide with me; fast falls the eventide;
The darkness deepens; Lord with me abide.
When other helpers fail and comforts flee,
Help of the helpless, O abide with me.

My heartfelt condolences. It really does put things into perspective. However, having said that supporting a club is a major part of some peoples life.

I think a garden at Falmer or some other kind of memorial would be a fitting way for those departed to be remembered
