It’s pretty simple
It’s meant to be clear and obvious
Clear and obvious means you are looking at the picture without any lines and a time limit
If you can’t see it within 30 seconds without assistance it’s not clear and obvious.
That does actually look a little more offside than Burn's - they seem to have taken it from his armpit, when his shoulder was further forward.

Yep, I don’t disagree.
Think about that though.
The Zaha one is the less ridiculous one..... and it’s pretty ridiculous.

People are paying big money for tickets, away fans giving up their whole day and not even getting shown a replay. Piss poor.
Strange thing is they had started showing the VAR decision replay on the big screen, then today with the Burn call they showed nothing. Convenient, its utterly horrendous.
We were talking about this today as well, the linos are told to not put the flags up for tight calls, what happens if the linesman doesn’t put his flag up, you win a corner from the offside attack so you’ve gained an advantage by being offside, then score from the corner?
There is just so many nonsense vagaries and rules that aren’t fit for VAR, along with the people running it. Utter buffoons.
It's not VAR, it's the way it's used; the rules; and the officials.
I like the idea employed in tennis where players get a set number of challenges.
Also, it simple has to be put own the screen and we need to hear what the officials are saying to each other, so mic them all up.
It's not hard, it's just football is so way behind in its adoption of technology.
