Went there Mid January when temperatures were down to -30C.

A can recommend This place . Downstairs is a hive of hot Eastern European women.

One place to definately avoid is the bar at the top of hotel Latvia. Great views, granted, but with a 10-1 ratio of men to women it's a place for real dodgy herberts!
