Revs attitude??

Did anyone else notice that Revs seemed to give it a bit of the "ssshh" action to the fans when he scored??

not sure if this has been posted elsewhere already, or if he even meant it like it seemed, but after seeing it yesterday and on MOTD this morning it made me wonder...

Especially after the last game... Anyway I hope I'm misreading it because we all know Revs always gives it 200% when he plays and is one of the few that did well yesterday.

Apart from scoring the sitter, what exactly else did he do well yesterday? Lots of running, created nothing. That's all I remember.

He was as bad as all the outfield players yesterday.

I dont agree with that comment but am I the only person who saw Forster go over and pat him on the back when he scored then turned around and said, so it appearred trying to lip read,' come on we've got a game to win'.

That explains my comment, you know that no matter how bad we play he'll chase every ball played back to the keeper and work hard. Which is more that can be said for many of them yesterday..

I saw him make the shhhh sign, and he directed it in the direction of the South Stand. Maybe he heard one person inparticular giving him a bit of stick??

The more likely thing was that he was telling us to shut up because we were getting on the case of the team.

He didn't have a great game yesterday, but 5 goals in 3 games isn't half bad.
Where would we have been without his goals against Bournemouth??

But without the tiresome running he would not have been in a position to score the tap in would he?
Why the hell do people on here like to constantly get on the back of players instead of supporting the team ( not aimed at you btw clippedgull )
Everyone knows the difference a crowd can make in a game, just look at the anfield roar or the old trafford factor in games and you can see that people getting behind a team does constructively help on the pitch so please stop all the moaning and just cheer them on in the hope that a winner could come.
Everyone complains about players giving up in matches ie Stoke game but how many matches this and previous seasons have the "fans" given up on a game long before the final whistle?

That has been noticable. I sit in Block C and I can usually hear H&J but haven't heard a peep during the last two games.

One of the many problems with Withdean is it's total unsuitability in terms of helping to create an atmosphere. There are many reasons for this that have all been sited before on here. Where it gets really dangerous for the players is that they don't get the lift of the atmosphere and they can hear all the negative comments that get drowned out in better venues. Brighton fans haven't turned into a bunch of whingers overnight, there were plenty in the East and West stands at the Goldstone but thankfully unless you were right next to them you couldn't hear them.

Having said that we do really need to start trying to create more of an atmosphere as it's getting beyond embarrassing.

what we all forget is the players are paid to run around for 90 mins just like we are paid to sit in offices writing emails they are doing there job all of our players have poor attitudes they think they are beter than they are.................no passion

Revell does lots of running, makes it look like hes doing something worthwhile but sometimes it just seems to open us up, I'd rather the keeper just hoof it up and theres a 50/50 chance of winning it. I don't really rate him tbh.
