I had the idea that there was once a raisin Revel (which would of course have been consigned to the bin), but I suspect I'm imagining that. There certainly used to be raisins in Double Deckers, and there was much rejoicing round my way when they dispensed with that very silly idea.

In the days when I used to get a selection box at Christmas, I'd eat all the other chocolates and leave the Revels till last, then cut (or very gently bite) into each Revel until I could establish with confidence that it wasn't an orange or coffee one. If it was, I'd chuck it away like a piece of rubbish [copyright Superted], with a horrified look on my face.
