Good god, I can't quite believe the in-depth analysis that goes into every single gesture/facial expression/post match interview.

Does it not occur to anyone that, even if Revell did say "f*** off" to Wilkins, it may have been somewhat in jest? I'm quite sure plenty of you on here have made a bet with a mate, say, and when it comes in, you run up to them laughing and shouting "ha ha, f*** you, you bastard, I told you!".

It doesn't mean you don't like them, for God's sake. And I imagine Wendy was pretty chuffed at the outcome too.

In fact, if he dished out a bollocking to one of his players (IF!), and the player winds up scoring a hat trick, I reckon he might quietly congratulate himself later on his man-management skills.

Too much analysis is unhealthy.

Although I still think that Revell went a tad far when he tore that infant's head from its shoulders and punted it over The Sportsman's roof. But youthful exuberance can overcome good manners when you've just scored your first hat trick for the team.

i thought worse thing that revell did after scoring his 3rd goal was not taking the oppertunity to write an auto biography before returning to the center circle.... shame on him.

Great celebrations - aimed at Wilkins, who clearly appreciated the sentiment. A GOOD thing.

:lol::lol::lol:

Didn't notice Revell celebrating other than running over and looking pretty scary at Dean Wilkins (I was right behind the dug-out at this point as we were making a move to get out).

I did notice after the second Revell went off like a whippet towards the south stand and Forster walked back to the half way line and he didn't seem to acknowledge Forster when they were getting ready for the kick off. There seemed to be some element of animation between the two through the second half but I think this is down to them being competitive strikers and this is only a good thing. I don't think any of it is too important other than they looked to be starting to form a useful partnership.
