Returning to Work/College/School

Just wondering what day do you all return to work/college/school etc etc.

I return to college on the 2nd January, for me this is well outrageous, should be atleast the 7th.

What day are your bosses all calling you back in

Start a new contract on Jan 2nd. Working up to Christmas Eve then away from LHR at 22:30.

Normally would finish on Christmas Eve but they've given us it off this year so it's finish on the 21st, back to work on the 27th.

Standard here is work every day that is not a public holiday. That means some poor saps will be working Fri 21st and Mon 24th. Don't even get half day on 24th. Back in on 27th & 28th, then it's all over by Jan 2nd and back to normal.

However, I couldn't give a rats arse this year as I finish on 21st and am not back until Jan 9th.
