There are trains for Kings Cross leaving Leeds at 17.40 and 18.40. What chance of getting the 17.40 if I stay to the final whistle?
Any advice from those who have done the Leeds trip before.

It will be a tight-push to get that, are you planning on getting the shuttle bus back from the ground ???

If so then I'd get there quick as there is only a few waiting and there'll be a few thousand wanting to get them.

Thanks for that. Trouble is the rail ticket is for a specific train so looks as if I should book the 18.40

you'll get the earlier one as long as you leave on the whistle and have some mode of transport to the station a cab or whatever. forget getting the shuttle bus for in time of that train.

What about if the police keep you in until the home fans have dispersed, though?

5.40 is probably cutting it a bit too fine, and if you don't make it, you'll have to buy another ticket without any discount.

NB I am pretty certain the Victoria Line is shut that Saturday as well, sure I read it somewhere.

BTW going for the 18:40
