Well, my return anyway. 100% no messing this week.

Who's in?

Brixtaaaan? Albion Dan (snigger)? Harveys? Barnet? Rowdy? Rowdy's mate? The Willow sisters? London Calling 1? The Simster? Steppenwolf?

Anyone else?

Will try (sadly, given work these days, should emphasise the "try") to make it along tomorrow. Because, if I carry on gaining weight at the current rate, I'll be the size of Johnny Depp's mum in "What's Eating Gilbert Grape" by Christmas.

Hopefully will get to come along.

You've got to be having a giraffe.
Put it this way,we won't be delaying the start in anticipation.

ps I'm the only Brighton fan left on thursdays, even rowdey has bottled it.

Alison Rudd has had free reign down the left for weeks thanks Wozza. You'll start on the bench of course.

He hinted on here last week that he may return. I'll call him in a mo and "apply pressure".

Does she still wear those tiny, tiny shorts? If so, I'd just let her get on with to be honest.

Is she writing a second book on Regent's Park footie, BTW? :lolol:

Tsk!

I may be late BTW (6.45-ish) but I'll defo be there.

Shame about the hubby. Was looking forward to getting my tackle in, making a pass etc etc.

Haven't read the book, but it's on Amazon.

Does this sound familar? :lolol:

The overriding theme is her weekly football matches in Regent's Park. These consist of almost religious preparation and organisation and amusing descriptions of the various "stragglers" that patrol the park in search of a game and the summer-long battles for pitch space with the corporate softball teams.

You pair of benders, I'll be there..!:lolol:

I'll see if Matt and Alex will come too, but they finish work at 5pm and get a bit fed up with hanging around for nearly 2 hrs..

LC1 should make it too actually..

I'm sure Albion Dan said to PM him, and he'll make an effort- will do..

The Willow sisters...very funny..!!

Why didnt you say that there were birds in tiny shorts there???

I had arranged to play snooker tomorrow night but will see if my mate fancies swapping it for a kick about instead.

Where exactly do you play again?

Directions: Head LEFT out of Regent's Park tube and down Marylebone Road until you reach the traffic lights, then turn right and cross the road. Walk straight down Park Square Gardens West, then cross straight over the road into Regent's Park. Follow the footpath straight ahead, passing the playpark to your right. We're usually on the right side of the path, just beyond the playpark, playing among the small trees (arguably the best defenders on the pitch). Look for blue and white stripes - and Albion away/obscure international shirts.

Mate, it gets dark early now, so we'll be in the pub by 8:30. Would be good to see you there.

Has anyone actually got a ball, or are we intending to barge in on the others?
