What does the back of the retro shirt look like?

Is it all blue? or striped like the original with red letters and numbering?

I would guess not, as you normally need a phone line to plug EFT machines into.

If it wasn't for the likes of me CAMPAIGNING I'd dread to think what this country would be like now.
I was just fondly reminiscing with my friends in the Portland Road Information Club & Knowledge Society about the time we picketed Mr Patels Corner News after we found out he was selling Curly Wurlys made in Malaysia.
We certainly put the wind up him and he soon stopped stocking them :clap2: :clap2: :clap2:

Mine is not quite a Curly Wurly, but it does bend slightly to the right, you are welcome to it though, so long as you like the odour of stale cheese.

In a pile of football shirts

League rules will dictate that the back must be plain.

is that correct? there are a number of teams with striped backs to their shirts, as mentioned, Sheff Utd. I think it may be league rules elsewhere, some European leagues, and perhaps further afield.

I think the reason for blank backs on our shirts for instance is because the shirt is an Errea standard shirt, used by other clubs as well as us, hence they have made the back blank to comply if necessary. If we ever get back to having our own unique designed shirts, then perhaps we too can have strips on the back.

Then again, I might be wrong about it all, but that is what I understood to be the situation.

it was a rule brought in when a team released a new kit it had to have a plain back, something to do with the numbers showing up better to TV. Bit pointless if you ask me
