For My Girlfriends birthday getting closer by the day i think it might be an idea to book somewhere before its to late

Im looking for somewhere slightly romantic and also if poss fairly cheap.. ideas very much appreciated

Zizzi's and Ask in Brighton are both nice and relatively well-priced. Not what I'd call cheap but they're certainly not expensive.

La Piazza in Hove is nice. Saw DK himself in there after the Port Vale game.

If you like Thai, I can recommend a little place called Red Snapper on Dyke Road (just south of the Seven Dials). My misses and I discovered it a couple of weeks ago. The food is great and the BYO alcohol policy makes it no more than about 15 quid a head!

Jade.Western Road.All you can eat for £13.95.Or be truly romantic and go Monday Tues,Weds or Thursday when it's er,less expensive.And it has the added joy of being Chinese so you get a couple of days off afterwards as well.
