I think it shows how poor these old grounds are. There should be far more restriction on old grounds by the authorities. Elland Rd, Old Trafford, Goodison are all death traps. Goodison, the away stand is wooden FFS. Fulham's stand is grade two listed. It should be allowed to be taken down, rebuilt at the Wealden museum and a facility fit for purpose, built.

How many people have been killed in the last 30 years at the stadiums you refer to?

There’s no reason why an old stadium should be inherently more dangerous than a new one if properly managed, maintained and staffed, with the relevant restrictions in place where necessary.

I’m saying none.
Perhaps not but given we have moved on from these tight grounds it is a very different experience going to the old grounds to the new. if there's one thing that can taken by these out of town grounds it's the safety aspect.
