Removing apple's drm from mp4 files - advice needed

Situation is that I have around 8000 music files. An unspecified number (max 200) of these have apple's drm "protecting" them, meaning I'm unable to share them across my network. What I want to do is remove these rights, and I know there is some freeware available to do this. The problem I have is that I don't know which files are affected, and I cannot face having to go through all 8000 individually to find out.

What I would like us some freeware that scans my music collection, identifies which files are affected, and fixes them.

So, Over to the good people of NSC. Has anyone faced this problem before? Anyone got a freeware package to recommend?

If you upload them to google cloud (play) then this will do the trick

I'm not convinced it does. I tried the same thing but a lot of my iPod music just never copied over. I assumed it was down to DRM although I'm not 100% sure.

Might not be the easiest or quickest route, but burning them to disc (as an audio cd) then ripping them seemed to get rid of it for me.
