This morning it has been made apparent to me that one of the young lads that plays for the REMF team was one of the unfortunate victims of yesterday's airshow tragedy.
Jacob Schilt was only 23 and played in 3 of the Brighton v Palace matches. It's come as a great shock that this has happened.
As a charity, we cant thank people enough for the kind work and fundraising that they do. For something like this to happen to one of our own is devastating.
We feel it only fitting that in due course, we will be doing something to remember him by. It's the least that we can do.

From everyone at the REMF our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and all that know him.

I know there are many on here who knew Jacob and he posted on here as Snoobs.

Just sickening. A lovely lad and an absolutely terrific footballer. Thoughts are with all the family, another good one goes far too young :(

This is totally shocking as I have seen Jacob playing football since an under 8 as he often played against my eldest son in the leagues up to U16s.

He was no.12 in the last REMF game, both my sons knew him as well.

RIP

I don't know him but certainly recognize the username. That's terrible :(
