Who remembers first thing on Sunday mornings they used to have rolling Ceefax pages on BBC1 before the programmes started, they were strangely addictive

I've just tried to find out other past winners of teletext man or woman of the year but had no luck.

Winner got less than 1,000 votes, it wasn't particularly newsworthy outside of the actual teletext page.

My abiding memory of Ceefax will always be down the pub on the night of the final session of the World Snooker Championships "watching" the scores flick over and updated as Jimmy Whites lead was eroded and finally overtaken by Stephen Hendry in the 1994 Final - was that really 25 years ago
