If you were reading this thread with no knowledge of the club you'd think that our starting XI is made up of the Dog and Duck reserve squad, it's painfully, hopelessly, maudlin.

We all know the areas where we're lacking but I don't think we're anywhere near being in as large a state as is being assumed on here.

I personally can't see us doing much more than sitting in mid-table this season as we do seem to lack the edge that would push us higher but we hardly seem to be in disarray.

They probably picked Wigan to come first off of the FA Cup win/momentum which should have been able to give them determination to do well, but as we all saw, they broke down...which probably no one could have predicted at the time

What are you on about? They were in the Championship for two seasons after they won the FA Cup. They missed out on a playoff spot to us the season before.
