My sons daughter ie my granddaughter what is her official relationship to my nephew ie her fathers cousin. There is an ongoing argument in our household some say 2nd cousin and some great cousin what is the view of NSC members?

Curiosity granddaughter is 2 my nephew is 32. I was talking to a friend recently whose grandson goes our for a drink with him legally but his own son is only 3 years old so uncle is 3 and his nephew is 18.
