Not sure what prompted the reincarnation of this old thread, but either way I wouldn't say I'm offended by people like Jimmy Carr or Reginald Hunter, I just don't find them funny. I find it cringeworthy they have to push the envelope to find humour. I actually used to find Reginald pretty funny on Have I got News for you and some of those shows where he can't use foul language or use the borderline cringey stuff...so not sure really why he does it to be fair as he doesn't need to he used to be funny without it...Jimmy Carr on the other hand, just can't watch him at all, cringe central in what he says and his deliver, which he won't give two iotas about but just my view.

Yep, I hear about them waaaay more than I hear from them.

Every facebook post with comment after comment about the woke/offended etc etc. and not a single comment from anyone actually doing any complaining.

Don't get me wrong, I am sure there are a few people out there that are offended by lots of this stuff. but those that are do not warrant anywhere near the response they get from the culture warriors.

to be honest I've seen a video of a house lady with who appears to be " stuck" in a washing machine whilst a plumber makes a valiant effort to unblock her from behind ......we can be offended at just about anything we like it would seem , as long as her pants were on the line before tea time i'm sure it all worked out fine. The world has changed at an alarming pace over the last 15 years ....x

( along with uk)has all the problems associated with social media* , they are the Manchester City to Englands Blythe Spartans and Australia are Bognor Athletic ........China on the other hand are Chelsea and Russia are Brentford....i hope you can grasp this concept , you really are too smart for me .
