Give us a biscuit
Just like to add to the other poster who has highlighted the inexplicable closure of the east exit from University Car Park 1 onto Knights Gate Road.
This was open all last season and for the first couple of games this term. I would love to know why it was closed on Friday night and would like to know whether this is something we will now have to deal with for the rest of the season?
With so few people parking in Car Park 1 on match days/nights now anyway, the few of us that do, I would imagine, are largely driven by the fact that you can get out onto the A27 in quick time after the game. Being forced out of the west exit adds, for a London bound supporter like myself, at least 30 minutes of additional travel time in queues and traffic on Coldean Lane.
I cannot believe this is an anti-congestion measure as having parked in Car Park 1 every game since the first at Falmer, I've seen the number of cars drop significantly on match days until now where we barely have 20-30 cars in the entire car park.
I very much hope 'someone' might reconsider this decision.
Thanks ever so much.....
