Thought he was really good. Let the game flow, played advantage well, booked the one really bad foul but didn't show any other yellows and quickly stamped on any attempts to feign injury.

It was a good game and the ref played a big part in that.

Agreed.

I thought he got everything spot on to be fair, one of the better refs we've had at the Amex by far.

It's good to see a ref use common sense and not blow his whistle every 5 seconds. Very good use of the advantage a couple of times as well.

He's a good ref and again showed that tonight but does need to learn to tell the time. First half their player feigned injury, to take the sting out of the game, a good 4 minutes passed before he RUN off the pitch but only 2 mins added.

Splitting hairs. He played numerous advantages and really tried to let the game flow. I'd hope Cardiff were similarly impressed with him.

Well done that man, credit where it's due.

Yep, I thought he ref'ed the game well. Did a good job telling Bellamy to get up and shut up. Suprised he didn't produce a card for the foul on Vicente late on.

i deeply respect Mark Halsey. Very good referee. Got over cancer a couple of years back too.

break from the norm of shit refs we usually have.

We were all saying what a good game he had. Played advantage well. Wasn't fooled when Cardiff suddenly suffered "injuries" when they were under the cosh. Hope we have him again (I appreciate I will probably live to regret that last comment).

I didn't realise it was Halsey from the WSU but not at all surprised that it was - quality ref and showed it last night.
