The Premier League have confirmed that this Saturday’s opening game of the season against Brighton will be refereed by David Coote whose last Burnley game was the 2-0 win against Fulham in May. Fourth official will be Martin Atkinson while Jarred Gillett will be on VAR duty.

Talking of Morton, there was a BBC report about his son who is a non-league manager who came out as gay. Apparently his dad was initially none too pleased!!
