These questions were a touch odd granted but were probably pitched to re-enforce the popular belief Red ken is out of touch with outer London boroughs. Say what you want about BoJo but on his trips to Croydon he shows interest in current affairs and recognises the importance the Borough has on the wider London area. Whether he has made a positive impact on issues facing Croydon remains to be seen but at least he makes the right noises.

Ken lost the last election for failing to reach out to the 50% of Londoners who live in the Outer London Boroughs and he’ll do himself no favours if he walks out of a Q&A in Croydon (which holds 5% of London’s population) However ridiculous he might feel the questions are.
