Some assistance if possible, youngest has just graduated and looking to get into the recruitment industry. He has applied for several jobs locally and was not selected for one interview which was a graduate post and is waiting to hear on several other applications.

Anyone in the industry and could provide advice on best way forward or should he just keep looking and applying.

Route for many kids seems to be starting off with a bigger firm (in banking firms like Hays for example) to learn the ropes before specialising (even within banking/finance - either by sector or temp/perm etc). There are millions of recruitment companies, shouldn’t be too difficult. Recruiters often put internal jobs up on job sites / linkedin etc. He should be looking up all of the recruiters in Brighton and applying directly, they are almost always looking for grads as the turnover is pretty high.
