Thanks but that wasn't the question I asked.
FFS, no wonder we can't sort out Brexit. We are a shitehouse ****about nation. Fact.
Sorry, Hazza. I thought the question had been answered. I was just adding extra info. I'll crack on with Brexit now.

Why is the Spurs average 54,216 when they've been playing at Wembley with 80,000 seats and all sold out?
That means, after away fans deducted, only 52,000 went to Wembley and yet the new ground is sold out at 57,000 (plus away) and a long waiting list.
Highest average attendances:
18/19 - 30,426 - 2nd PL season
17/18 - 30,392 - 1st PL season
16/17 - 27,995 - Promoted
13/14 - 27,283 - Play-offs
12/13 - 26,236 - Play-offs
14/15 - 25,658 - 20th in Champ
15/16 - 25,583 - Play-offs
77/78 - 25,264 - Promoted from Div 3
79/80 - 24,795 - 1st season in Div 1
58/59 - 22,460 - 1st season in Div 2
And they said we'd never fill Falmer.

I know the actual attendances are held somewhere.
The lowest league attendance in the AMEX era I recall was about 16,000 for a home match against Wigan Athletic in 2014.

We need a North Stand upgrade. . . .safe standing lower tier, small seated upper tier and get it up to 35 000.
Lowest League attendance at The Amex was 18,412, v Derby County 20 March 2012
The ten attendances below that were all in the League Cup (8) and FA Cup (2)
I'm referring to actual attendees though. The Wigan Athletic game sticks out because they reported 22,000 when it was clear the ground was little over half full. The actual attendance was 16,500 ish (I think)
The 30,000+ attendances are not as frequent as reported but, for sure, there will have been some.
Prior to entering the top flight I always felt the highest attendance was the Palace play-off match. (29,500- you'll have that somewhere). I based that on the ground being seemingly full and, having bought tickets, few would have not taken up their seats. I do wonder what the real averages are.
On another note, thanks for your splendid programme site. Hours of pleasure- and doubtless hours of work for you. You cannot be praised enough.

Arsenal in the FA Cup was packed and had less segregation, although there were a lot more away fans. Pretty sure that was 30,000+.
January 2015
30,278, with 4,449 away fans, the highest away attendance at The Amex.
More than Coventry?
Safe Standing doesn’t increase capacity, under laws in the UK. Every seat is only replaced by a single space for someone standing.
