Hey Chaps,

I am living in Dublin at the moment but have been a lifelong albion fan and have followed the stripes up and down the country for the past 10 years. I am going to buy a season ticket but have no idea where's best? I haven't had the chance to go to any of the presentations nor trawl through NSC to find other relevant posts.

Could the good folk of NSC give me some tips on where to sit? Where are most people here sitting based on the information they have? I want view and atmosphere. I am hoping to keep this seat for posterity and don't fancy moving around too much in my Albion fan career (rest of my life)

Thanks in advance ...

From what I'm hearing, a lot of the old North stand Goldstone boys are going West upper.

Whilst maybe not in their prime, they are still a bit on the lively side.:lolol:

West Upper and North are going to be the sections with most atmosphere. It's families, and old and genteel folk only in the East.

North will be noisy but compromise on view and potential to be a bit sad like H block.

West upper seems to of emerged as the alternative for good atmosphere and good views. Low roof should ensure acoustics from this stand are the best

for those of you that visited ninian park, the away fans had the young chavs and wannabes screaming at you from one side, then from theside of the pitch in the corner nearest away end,you had the soul crew lads (old school),both created a great atmosphere, lets hope the amex can create something similar, you can bet the away fans will come in numbers,we dont want them taking the piss eh

And now you get the Family Stand to your left, with eight and nine year olds yelling at you, and on the left the old Bob Bankers (the popular stand at Ninian Park running down the opposite side from where the Soul Crew were). In short, new ground, same friendly atmosphere. What the Portsmouth game showed is that we can get a good atmosphere going at Withdean (I thought having home fans in the West Stand worked really well), so if you have the West Upper and the North Stand sining, we should have a corking atmosphere, even if those nearest the away fans don't sing.

I've changed my mind at the last minute and gone for West Lower, but relatively far back. Very happy with this to say the least, as I'd expect the atmosphere from upstairs to carry on down to us. Ideally I'd have been up there, but pretty much all the seats at the front are taken, and the view isn't great from much further back.

Must say, I'm beginning to believe that the West will have by far the better atmosphere compared to the north. It also appears many of the 'old faces' are in there too!

5 flights of stairs just to get to the West Upper-hope they have some oxygen tanks near the top for the 'old faces'.
