[Help] Recommendation needed to fix door opening mechanism on VW Transporter

Can anyone recommend someone who can fix a door handle / opening mechanism on a VW Transporter in the Hove/Portslade/Brighton area?

Ive been told it's cheaper to use a car body repairer than a mechanic. Is that the case?

Ive taken the door panel off but the job is more complicated than i'd hoped.

Update: ive now solved the opening door problem with some graphite spray. But now I need to find one of these interior handles as mine is broken.

So no longer need a mechanic/body repairer. Just beed a car breaker /second hand car spares as the part is probably obsolete.

put the part number (the 701* number) into google, or ebay, and see what comes back.

There is a VW spares place in Shoreham which might be able to help if you need it quickly

Just ordered off ebay. Part easier to come by than I thought it would be. Thought it would be obsolete as lot of old T4 parts are but i was able to buy new.
