Recommend me a good tattooist

In the Brighton/Sussex area. Somewhere cheap, AIDS free and with helpful staff, ie don't just shrug their shoulders if you were to ask for what would look good etc.

Have been going to the place next to the Seagulls shop which is reasonable but have heard there's better out there

North Road.

I've had all 5 of mine thus far done there, and I'd recommend them. Not cheap mind, but worth it IMO for the quality of the work and the knowledge and ability of the artists.

Watchin the boats go by
I have to say, although i've got no inclination to have a tattoo, the absolute LAST thing i'd be worried about is how much it COST! If it cost £75 with one crap shop or £750 with a professional in a clean environment who was well respected within the industry, it'd be worth it for something that is gonna be PERMANTELY etched onto my body!

How soon is now?
Red Deagon in Horsham - Danny fuller who owns it is regarded as one of the best in Europe. He's done my 3 and at some point(no pun intended) i'll be going again. A mate has had his sleeves done at InToYou which I believe is in Western St in Hove(actually) - and he recommends them

Go and see Danny Fuller at the Red Dragon Studio in Horsham. He is the best tatooist around. He does a lot of designs for other studios aswell.
I've been using Danny for donkeys years great artist but really nice guy too.
He's done 99% of mine including a massive back piece last year and I honestly wouldn't use anyone else now
Failing that Lee at Inktruision in Crawley is also excellent (one of Dannys apprentices)

Darren Stares in Pompey! Regarded as the best in the country for unique work, especially creating a work from a photo. Over 170 awards. Recommended by Into You which says it all. Just had a piece done there, excellent and very good value.
